Tonight, we feature a moderated discussion with author Marie Myung-Ok Lee about her new novel, The Evening Hero, which is about rural hospital closures, anti-Asian racism, and how war trauma seeps into everyday life for an immigrant-themes that have become suddenly more urgent and topical.
Ms. Lee is an acclaimed Korean-American writer and author of the novel Somebody’s Daughter. She graduated from Brown University and was a Writer in Residence there before she began teaching at Columbia University’s Writing Division. You can learn more about her at https://marielee.net/
