John W. Berry

Elected in 2010 John W. Berry is the foundations sixth chairman. Berry joined the EHFOP in 2008 and became the organization’s vice-chairman in 2009. He is a former executive director of the Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges based in Chicago, director of advancement and research associate professor, the University Library, University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) 1990-96. He has held faculty and management positions at Northern Illinois University, Elmira College (NY) and Indiana University. He is currently professor of the Practice of Library and Information Science in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Dominican University. He holds the MLS (Library and Information Science), MAT (Social Studies) and BA (Political Science) from Indiana University.
